Trail...

I often walk on a trail at a park near my house. As I walk on the trail there is tar for as far as my eyes can see. There are trails that veer to the left or some that veer to the right. Imagine for a moment that this trail is your walk with God. Then think about walking that same trail blindfolded! Walk by faith and not but sight; that’s what his word says. God is saying trust me. That’s what he is constantly saying to me! My life has been filled with hills to climb, twists and turns, stumbles in the road and distractions on every hand. There have been times when I just stopped along the way ‘cause I felt like I just couldn’t make it one more day. There were times that I felt like I was just walking in circles. But I have learned even in my walk when I don’t see him or hear him that he’s with me every step of the way. For he said he’d never leave me or forsake me. I am determined more and more every day to keep walking by faith. So while I’m in my “blindfolded” state I can’t turn back, I can’t stop my press. I’ve got to take this walk one step at a time as he’s leads me out victoriously!
