Everybody’s got a time to SHINE!!

If you’ve been reading my posts you know I get a lot of inspiration from my fish tank. If you just started following me, scroll back and read. Anyway I currently have 3 fish in my big tank. Lil Z (who’s not so little anymore), Cheetah, and Bettlejuice. Lil Z was tiny but didn’t take long to start growing. Cheetah took a minute but she started growing as well. Now Beetlejuice, who had been in the tank the longest, seemed to just remain the same. I thought maybe he’s not eating enough, or maybe the other fish are bullying him and he’s just stressed. I’m not a fish expert, so what do I really know. (LOL) Anywho I would feed the fish and would always talk about how the other fish were getting big and Beetlejuice wasn’t growing at all!😭 Then one day, months and months later….and I do mean MONTHS….maybe over a year honestly, I see Beetlejuice and I noticed that he had grown!!! I was so excited. I mean like when did this happen??? It was like he grew overnight. Probably not, but I was so focused on how big the others were getting. At any rate he’s growing and thriving and hanging with the big fish! In life we all grow and excel at different times and different seasons of our life. We must focus on ourselves and not what we see others doing. Persevere, even when we have setbacks, challenges, and what seems like delays in achieving our goals. Even when it seems like you are at a standstill…just keep swimming! Even if you don’t recognize growth….just keep swimming! Rejections and disappointments…..just keep swimming. Don’t do it for the recognition, but give it your best everyday. Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. Cause when it’s your time…it’s your time! And babyyyyyy Let your light Shine!✨💛
