Frustration was writing this entire post and then hitting the wrong button and losing it ALL!!!! UGH!!🤦🏽♀️ But here I go again…. After a lil over 2 years of not posting, (I’ve given myself grace for this) I was excited to make a post for the New Year! Much to my surprise when I logged onto my account I was unable to access my site to make a post. I spent hours trying to figure out why. It was beyond frustrating! I finally decided to send a message to customer service to explain what was going on. To my surprise I got a quick response. I messaged back and forth with different agents trying to fully explain what I was experiencing, Then I received a response that said I needed to prove that I was the owner. How was I going to do that?? I decided to upload a copy of my ID and a bill I had received from the website. I was then asked to complete a form with an alternate email address so that a senior administrator could contact me. Well my alternative email was one that I never check because it’s mostly junk. So this made me very nervous. When I finally got the email I had to submit a form with some personal information, explain what had happened…again ANDDD upload my ID again. To make matters worse I was having a hard time submitting the form so I had to start over and complete this form again and again before I could get it to go through. My level of frustration was on a 10 at this point; like why was I having so much trouble?? But it had gone through so now I just had to wait for a reply. A few days passed before I remembered to check and see if I had gotten a reply. When I opened the email it stated that they had verified that I was the owner and that I has 72hrs to use the link in the email to reset my password. (YIKES) I was a lil panicked because like I said I don’t check that particular email on a regular basis. Thankfully I was able to use the link provided and I’m back in business!!! Whew!!! 😅 What a frustrating process, but in order to reach my desired end I had to follow through with the necessary steps to regain access to my site. Life can be frustrating sometimes, but we have to push through the hard days; stop and take a breath when needed; or simply walk away for a moment. No matter how long it takes, just keep going! Frustration is a natural emotion; its just how you choose to handle it. Don’t let it get the best of you. It’s just a ripple in the process, let your actions and reactions take precedence. You got this!
