Spring

It was the second day of Spring and nothing about the weather looked or felt like it. The weather was wet, rainy, dreary, and cold...Yep, all of that! As I sat at my desk watching people come and go I looked up and suddenly the sun was shining as bright as it could be! I smiled thinking how beautiful it looked outside, and at that moment it was as if the rain that I was watching earlier was just a memory. I looked up again and it wasn’t so bright anymore and it looked dreary again. But that moment of sun is what I remembered. Just as the sun gave a gentle reminder that it was indeed Spring, God gives us light in the midst of our dreariness! A sweet reminder that no matter what it looks like or no matter what it feels like he can and he will come through. Proverbs 23:18 says Surely there is an end and thine expectation shall not be cut off! God’s promises don’t change because of what our circumstances look like. Smile through the sunshine and the rain. Hold on, better days are coming, God knows what he is doing! There is an expected end! #welcomespring
