Scale

Yesterday I got to see my life on a scale! On my side were my issues, troubles and trials. Things that were trying to weigh me down. Things that had me a bit teary at times I might add. Then I found out some horrible news! Someone very close to me lost their baby girl not even 2 months old. In that very second my scale shifted. The things I was concerned with didn’t seem to matter at all! The weight didn’t feel so much like a weight anymore. My heart broke for her as I wept uncontrollably shifting the focus from me to her! Sometimes God has a way of putting things in perspective. To get you to focus on what he has for you to do; or whose path he wants you to cross. What is it that we always say...Lord use me for your Glory! We can’t be so distracted with what’s on our side of the scale that we don’t notice what’s on someone else’s! When we take the focus off ourselves we will begin to see our own weights are being lifted!
