Plants...

We have a few plants in the office that I usually water every week. If I happen to forget they will start to droop a bit, but a lil water usually perks them up within a few hours. Last week I noticed that the pot that had two different plants was extra droopy on one side. One of them actually was bent to the point that I thought it was broken. One person said it’s too much in one pot while another one said it just needs water. My reply was I water it the same as I do the rest of them and they’re not droopy. Needless to say I added water to the section of the plant that looked broken and I even used a ruler to try to prop it up. Hours went by and there was no change in the plant😔 The next day when I came to work I was stunned! The first thing I noticed was the plant. It was standing taller than I had ever seen it before. I was speechless...So many times we have so much going on in our lives that we don’t realize that there are things we are neglecting, or things that we think we are giving attention to that we really aren’t. Sometimes God let’s us get down and be broken just for us to see how much we need him! He is the giver of living water! He is our strength! He is the lifter of heavy burdens! Without him we will fall! So we pray, trust him, and live by his word. When we do then we will begin to see a change in our lives. Our walk is different, our talk is different, and even our thinking is different! A change will be evident! I can’t tell you how much this is MY truth! When I added him completely in my life and not just a sprinkle here and there...Oh what a change in my life! Because I am rooted in him I am able to stand tall!
