Landing

There's no secret that airplanes speak to me in many ways and my favorite place to drive is by the airport in hopes to see one flying low. Well as I'm driving I see a plane sitting mid air waiting to land. Of course I had no way of knowing why the plane couldn't land but I'm sure there were air traffic controllers keeping it from landing. I can imagine there were people on the plane getting a bit antsy; late for an event or meeting, excited to see a loved one or just simply ready to get home. The pilot may or may not have given a reason for the delay, all that you know is that you must be patience knowing the plane will be cleared to land soon and you can get to your destination. So many times I've felt like I was just waiting to "land". I don't always know the reason for the delay but I know that I will get there! In fact, I'm waiting now and trust me being patient is easier said than done sometimes. But I trust that God sees where I am and where I'm going. He's able to give me a safe landing to the place he has purposed me to be. If I try to get there when conditions aren't ready and favorable then what I may experience is a disaster! So I enjoy my life where God has me right now trusting that what I have prayed for and believed him for is yet being prepared and cleared for landing.
