Doors...

Long before there was brown Thursday or Cyber Monday, there was just Black Friday. So the crowds were insane! My first experience was one I’ll never forget. First of all we had to get there super early and just wait...it was cold and uncomfortable. As it got closer to the 6 o’clock hour things changed. It started getting warmer as the crowd began moving closer. You could feel that something was about to happen. Everyone was getting ready for the doors to open. Once those doors opened you had to be moving. There were only two choices; move to get what you want or stand to the side and watch everyone else go by and get theirs. Isn’t that just like life experiences? As you’re moving towards the things God has for you, sometimes you must wait. And the wait isn’t always comfortable. As you get closer to your blessings you begin to feel the pressures of life, things can sometimes feel as if they’re closing in on you. Stay focused because God is getting ready to open doors for you. What will you be doing when they open? Will there be so much pressure, so many distractions that you let it pass you by or will you be firmly planted, ready to get what God has for you? I’m ready for the BIG things God has for me. I’m making preparation daily to be ready as he opens doors for me!
