Behind the scenes

I can always relate the process of natural birth to a spiritual connection. The growing, the pain, the pushing etc. But not everyone experiences natural birth. Some people deliver by Cesarean. Although I’ve never had a C-Section, I’ve seen it on a few birthing shows. I mention this because over the past few weeks I’ve heard people say God is working behind the scenes; working things out on your behalf. I began to see the woman, half of her body on one side of a drape, doctors and nurses on the other. You can’t see what’s going on but you know that “deliverance” is coming. You lie still patiently waiting the cry of your baby. Anxiously waiting to see, tears flowing. You can’t do anything but you trust that the Dr is gonna do everything he needs to do to bring your baby into this world. So when you’re going through “be still and know that he is God!” He’s working on your behalf, working it out for you! It may not look like it, it may not feel like it, tears may flow, but trust that he is working!
