Tank

A little over a year ago I was at home getting ready to clean my fish tank. Now mind you it had needed cleaning for a few weeks but I was just getting around to cleaning it that day. It took several washes and rinses to get it clean. I filled it with water and gave it a new filter. I even found the light that goes with it and now the tank looks fresh, new, and clean. After waiting for the water to condition I put the fish back in! I know you're wondering why I've gone on and on about a fish tank but you gotta understand just how God works as he showed me something in that process. I thought about my life as the filthy tank. Unfocused and unfulfilled. I was frustrated enough to tell God how I felt! God was right there listening. He began changing me in ways I never imagined. Filling me with his spirit, his love, and so much more. Using me as a light so that others may see him through me. He has changed my walk and changed my talk and put me in a place where I see things more clearly. A place where I can be free and through him I can make a difference! It amazes me how God speaks to me through the simplest of things. It has truly strengthened me. It is a blessing to know that he will always come to my rescue, giving me hope and a reason to press on!
