Knowing and listening to when God speaks never ceases to amaze me. He continues to use something so simple to speak so clearly. For those who have been reading my blog since the beginning you’ll see that this is my 3rd revelation I’ve gotten from my fish tank. I cleaned my fish tank a few days ago., and as always the bigger fish(Ryder) fights me to get out! Isn’t that how we act sometimes when God tries to move us out of our norm into something different. We fight to stay in our comfort zone.....(that’s a whole other revelation on its own) Anywho It took a moment but I got both fish out the tank. Once I cleaned the tank I placed the fish back in it. They appeared to be happy....but the more I looked at the tank I noticed Ryder was just swimming in circles at the bottom. My youngest son is watching as well. He says I think he’s in distress, then he says look at his fin on the left side, it’s not moving. I begin to get a lil nervous as I continued to watch, then I do what comes natural; I began praying for my fish. I know that may sound silly but the Lord said “Everything with prayer and supplication” ; “Cast all your cares on him, for he cares”. I guess you can say I just believe God for anything. I continued to watch him swim in circles. I mean what more could I do ? I finally moved on to do other things, checking the tank every now and again. I was getting a lil weary when I didn’t see any changes..( I can’t be the only one that gets a lil weary sometimes) I continued on doing other things and before going to bed I looked at my tank and Ryder who had been swimming in circles was now moving about all over the tank! 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 Thank You Jesus!
Have you ever had a situation in your life that was spinning out of control? A situation that was out of your reach. One that only God can fix! I mean think about it, if I had put my hand in that tank to try to help him, I may have made things worse. Isn’t that just like us, wanna put our hands on situations and things that God didn’t intend on us to handle. He just wants us to seek him, pray, trust and believe; all while doing what he has called us to do. Don’t get distracted by things you were never intended to handle. Work on you while God is working on it! He wants to show you his power and his might for All the Glory belongs to him! I mean he did it for my fish....are we not much more valuable than he?!?!? 🐡
